A short introduction on the why, what and when of this newsletter
Hi! I am Prachi and I’ve operated in the Indian Healthcare space for the past 5 years. I am here to write about my observations around building in healthcare. The idea has lived rent free in my head for over a month now. Some free time + an invigorating conversation with a friend is why I am finally here. I’ve always enjoyed reading on Substack (great UX and high discoverability) and couldn’t think of a better platform to write on.
I promise you industry landscapes, upcoming investment opportunities, thoughts on healthcare evolution in India, book reviews, interviews with founders, medical history, “How to” tips and an occasional rant. I will be posting weekly.
Over time, I hope this space becomes a valuable resource to help you, the reader gain perspective on Healthcare. For me, this space serves as repository of thoughts which will (one day) help me trace the arc of my evolution.
About community: I don’t think imagined digital communities are a substitute for real human connections (actual communities) so I am not even going to try to make one. If we want community, we have a much better shot at making one by introducing ourselves to a neighbour we haven’t spoken with.
Network, on the other hand is a more honest word. And mine is here to help you :)
